The reporter may be sometimes alarmist and unreliable. On the other hand, the people in Portland, OR are worried about what may happen to them next week, and are setting up networks, just in case. The story documents its assertions from several sources. We’d better start praying that patriotic Americans will refuse to obey any orders which bring destruction down on American cities.
MOSCOW (October 5, 2007) — Russia’s Strategic Rocket Forces (a separate branch of Russia’s Armed Forces) are reporting to the Kremlin today that Commander Col.-General Nikolai Solovtsov has received an ‘urgent’ communication from his American counterparts (as per the provisions of the START 1 Strategic Nuclear Arms Control Agreement signed between Russia and the US in 1991) notifying Russian Military Authorities that the United States will, essentially, go to ‘full war footing’ this weekend.
The reasons stated by the Americans for going on ‘war footing’, according to these reports, are two-fold, with the first being their intention to begin transferring all of the their weapons-grade plutonium to their Savannah River Site located in South Carolina, and, secondly, their intention to begin their largest “terror exercise” in history by “simulating” the explosion of nuclear armed “dirty bombs” in American cities….
As reported on October 3rd by the Associated Press News Service: “The nation is preparing for its biggest terrorism exercise ever next week when three fictional “dirty bombs” go off and cripple transportation arteries in two major US cities and Guam, according to a document obtained by The Associated Press.
Yet even as this drill begins, details from the previous national exercise held in 2005 have yet to be publicly released – information that’s supposed to help officials prepare for the next real attack.”
As reported October 1st by the Institute for Southern Studies: “The US Department of Energy plans to begin shipping plutonium to the Savannah River Site near Aiken, SC as early as Friday. The shipments are so secret that that not even the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency — which usually works with agencies transporting nuclear material — has been given any information about them, according to the paper.
The shipments are part of the government’s effort to consolidate the nation’s surplus supply of weapons-grade plutonium in South Carolina. The material will be coming from the Hanford Site in Washington, the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California.
“In all, the government plans to transport some 2,300 plutonium storage containers from Hanford and almost 700 from Lawrence Livermore and Los Alamos.”
These reports detail that Russian Military Leaders are ‘shocked’ that the Americans would begin the transferring of their nuclear weapons-grade plutonium stocks while simultaneously holding a massive terror exercise, especially in light of the events of September 11, 2001, and which show the confusion military exercises can have on response times while also being attacked:
• (Before 9:00 a.m.) September 11, 2001: Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, is Directing Global Guardian Training Exercise
• (Shortly Before 9:37 a.m.) September 11, 2001: Airborne Command Post Launched from Near Washington to participate in a pre-scheduled military exercise
• (Before 9:37 a.m.) September 11, 2001: Army Base near Pentagon Holding Air Field Fire Fighting Training
• (9:40 a.m.) September 11, 2001: Hijacking Simulation Scheduled as Part of NORAD Exercise
• (Before 9:55 a.m.) September 11, 2001: AWACS Planes on Training Missions in Florida and Near Washington, DC
Not just to the Americans, but also to the British has the ‘coincidence’ of a devastating terrorist attack occurred simultaneously with a ‘training exercise’:
“A fictional “scenario” of multiple bomb attacks on London’s underground took place at exactly the same time as the bomb attack on July 7, 2005.
Peter Power, Managing Director of Visor Consultants, a private firm on contract to the London Metropolitan Police, described in a BBC interview how he had organized and conducted the anti-terror drill, on behalf of an unnamed business client.
The fictional scenario was based on simultaneous bombs going off at exactly the same time at the underground stations where the real attacks were occurring…”
Of the greatest concern, however, to Russian Military Authorities are that this notification has come from the Americans at a time when fears of war between them, the US , and Iran which grows even more strident with each passing day, and as we can read as reported by Britain ’s Guardian Unlimited News Service and which says:
“It seems almost incredible after the catastrophe of the Iraq war, but the signs are growing that the Bush administration wants to do it all over again — this time to Iran. Just as in the runup to the invasion of Iraq, the Washington air is thick with unsubstantiated claims about weapons of mass destruction; demonisation of the country’s president has reached bizarre proportions; intelligence leaks about links with al-Qaida and attacks on US and British targets are now routine; demands for war from the administration’s neoconservative outriders are becoming increasingly strident; the pronouncements of George Bush and his vice-president, Dick Cheney, are turning ever more belligerent — and administration sources claim that the British government is privately ready to play ball.”
