Trump Must Go for Pardoning War Criminals
(November 15, 2019) — They are NOT investigating Trump for his threats to humanity. Concentration camps on the border… environmental devastation accelerated… the danger of war, even nuclear, threatened… white supremacy rules . . . fascist mobs and racist mass murderers . . . truth and science erased . . . the right to abortion near gone… the rule of law and democratic and civil rights are stripped away . . . Then Friday, with impeachment going on in the House, Trump did something lobbied for months for by Fox Network. He pardoned two U.S. military war criminals:
• Clint Lorance, who was turned in by his own commander for killing unarmed Afghanis, convicted, and sentenced to 19 years.
• Matthew Goldsteyn, who was facing pre-meditated murder charges, which he admitted to, in killing an unarmed Afghani.
He also “cleared” Eddie Gallagher, who was acquitted of most murder charges by a military jury. The military was about to kick him out of the Navy Seals, but Trump is allowing him to keep his rank. These are heroes of the fascist order.
Trump says, “We teach them how to be great fighters, and then when they fight sometimes they get really treated very unfairly.” This from the commander in chief who deployed the Mother of All Bombs — the biggest bomb in history — in Afghanistan.

People who speak out and stand up for justice are heroes, and keep their humanity. Those who get pardoned for killing unarmed people and praised by the fascist mob and their leader are war criminals, and fitting heroes for unjust wars.
