Gaza’s Hiroshima: Israel Hits the
Gaza Strip with 12,000 Tons of Bombs

(October 25, 2023) — As of October 25, Israel — with the support of the US — had dropped 12,000 tons of high-explosive bombs on the Gaza Strip. This is an equivalent explosive power to the US atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. The civilian death toll in Gaza is now approaching 10,000, with 70% of the dead being women and children.
Rather than use diplomacy to end this slaughter, the Biden regime has instead chosen to veto ceasefire resolutions in the UN Security Council (last vote was 12 in favor, 2 abstentions, and 1 veto by the US). The US has simultaneously embarked upon a massive buildup of US military forces in the Middle East, with 4 Carrier Battle Groups deployed in the general region, squadrons of A-10 Warthog fighters also deployed, and hundreds of military cargo flights delivering weapons and equipment non-stop to Israel.
European NATO member states, and the EU, have joined the US in support of Israel. German, UK, and Dutch naval vessels have all joined with the US navy to create the largest naval armada seen off the coasts of Lebanon and Palestine since the end of World War 2. The US and NATO appear to be all in for another massive war, this time in the Middle East (at least it will begin there). China has sent 6 warships to the Mediterranean in support of Iran and Russia.
Rather than halt the bloodshed, the neocons running the US are seizing on the conflict in Israel to achieve their long-standing goal of fighting a war against Iran.
Are they crazy and stupid enough to think that such a war would be limited to the US, NATO, Israel, and Iran? Do they think they can “make Russia [and China] back down”? Are the US neocons running US foreign policy, who are Jewish, also Zionists who believe they are working to fulfill Biblical prophecy (which includes Armageddon)?
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, in a speech to his nation, described his genocidal war on the people of Gaza as a “holy mission”. Netanyahu said that “you must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible.”
According to the Hebrew Bible, the nation of Amalek was an ancient archenemy of the Israelites whose extermination was commanded by God to Saul via the prophet Samuel. “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass,” states the Old Testament in 1 Samuel 15:3.
There will be a terrible price to pay for this massacre, which will also fall on the US and Europe. Our delusional, immoral, and corrupt leaders are leading us to the edge of the Abyss of nuclear war.

Bombs Dropped on Gaza Equivalent to
‘Nuclear Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima’

DUBAI (October 25, 2023) — Gaza’s media office on Tuesday said that Israel’s bombing of the strip is the equivalent of the 1945 “nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima in Japan.”
Salama Maarouf, head of the media office in the Gaza Strip, said in a press conference that Israel has dropped over 12,000 tons of explosives since Oct. 7.
“An average of 33 tons of explosives were dropped per square kilometer on the Palestinian enclave since Israel started its aggression,” the statement added.
As of Oct. 25, the death toll in Gaza has reached over 5,790, with over 2,300 of those being children.
Home to 2.3 million people, the Gaza Strip has a total area of 365 square kilometers.
After Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel, the Israeli Defense Forces launched a heavy bombardment on the Palestinian territory and has put the residents under a complete siege with a blockade of food, fuel and medical supplies.
Gaza’s health ministry also announced a “complete collapse” of its healthcare system, with 12 hospitals and 32 healthcare centers currently out of service.
On Tuesday, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East warned in a post on X that if fuel is not allowed into the strip, the organization will be forced to halt all operations on Oct. 25.

300 Global Figures Call on UN to
End the ‘Bloodbath’ in Gaza

(October 25, 2023) — Over 300 prominent activists, politicians, academic and religious figures from all around the world have come together to call on the UN to bring an immediate end to the “bloodbath” in Gaza.
Spearheaded by the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC), the letter accuses the UN of being “a bystander to war crimes as Israel continues its bombardment of the densely populated Palestinian territory.” To date well over 5,000 people have been killed, 70 per cent of them women and children. Child deaths alone are currently running in excess of 2,000.
The letter, addressed to the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, is signed by former Labour minister Clare Short and renowned academics Professors Jeff Halper, Richard Falk, Ilan Pappe and Avi Shlaim, as well as MEMO Director Dr Daud Abdullah.
It charges Israel with carrying out a series of war crimes. These include cutting off electricity, water and food supplies and abandoning the principles of proportionality and distinction in warfare in bombing residential centres, hospitals, ambulances, churches, mosques, schools and shopping areas.
It calls on the UN to “rise to the need of the hour” to “rein in Israel” and establish an immediate ceasefire that will allow for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
“The UN was formed in the wake of World War 2 with the express purpose of upholding a rules based world order and to prevent a repeat of that conflict. That being the case how much longer is the organisation going to stand by and watch as a genocide unfolds before our very eyes,” states the letter.
It adds: “According to the UN’s own workers and officials there are no safe places in Gaza. Gaza is under total siege and constant bombardment… It is abundantly clear that in abandoning the requirement to uphold the principles of proportionality and distinction between civilians and combatants, Israel is in gross violation of international law.”
Warning that “unless Israel is stopped and held accountable for the crimes it is currently committing in Gaza and the West Bank it will continue to kill and maim with impunity and to make a mockery of international law.”
