If You’re Not Angry, You’re Not Paying Attention.
It’s Time We Call for the Impeachment of Biden

TUCSON (December 21, 2023) — Across the board America is not in good shape. For too long we have not had the political courage to “call out” the alleged criminals in leadership ranks in America.
As a nation we reap what we sow. We have sowed not speaking out, not yelling “the emperor has no clothes!”
“The Emperor’s New Clothes” is a literary folktale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen:
Two con-men arrive at the capital city of an emperor who spends lavishly on clothing at the expense of state matters. Posing as weavers, they offer to supply him with magnificent clothes that are invisible to those who are stupid or incompetent. The emperor hires them, and they set up looms and go to work. A succession of officials, and then the emperor himself, visit them to check their progress. Each sees that the looms are empty but pretends otherwise to avoid being thought a fool.
Finally, the weavers report that the emperor’s suit is finished. They mime dressing him and he sets off in a procession before the whole city. The townsfolk uncomfortably go along with the pretense, not wanting to appear inept or stupid, until a child blurts out that the emperor is wearing nothing at all. The people then realize that everyone has been fooled. Although startled, the emperor continues the procession, walking more proudly than ever.
In America, the con men are military, corporate and political leaders of Americas military industrial political complex and too many of us who are workers and citizens who go along to get along.
In another century and another war, I was duped and I duped myself into volunteering to serve in the Army during Vietnam. I was forced to train for a year to be an infantry officer. Naturally, I thought a good deal about creating death and receiving death.
I decided this: If I had time to determine whether an order I received in combat from a commander was not legal, that I would not obey and take the consequences. The Army sent me to South Korea in 1969 rather than South Vietnam because I found out from my new commanding officer someone at the Pentagon had decided I might be a revolutionary. I lucked out due to their fear.
Flip back to this century. For much of 20th century and nearly all of this century we have been in forever wars.
During the 2000’s, I worked with good people who worked together to impeach both Bush II and later Obama for illegal wars.
Truman said the “Buck Stops Here,” at least that’s what the sign on his desk said.
Well for Mr. Biden the Buck stops at his desk for all the decisions he makes AND DOESN’T MAKE but lets happen in Israel’s response to the Hamas attack on Israel.
At this time Biden is an enabler of the alleged war crime of genocide.
Former President Trump and the 147 members of Congress who sided with his effort to overthrow the US election in 2020 and overthrow the federal government should be expelled by the members of Congress using the 14 Amendment Sec. 3.
If you would like to help organize an effort to demand Biden’s impeachment, please email me back at dbuzzdavis@aol.com.
Again, no need to reply, if you would like to rationalize accepting doing nothing.
Peace and Democracy!

“In the aftermath of the violent events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, Senator Amy Klobuchar and other federal legislators reminded us that we have “a republic,” but only “if you can keep it.” The source of this quotation is a journal kept by James McHenry (1753-1816) while he was a Maryland delegate to the Constitutional Convention.
On the page where McHenry records the events of the last day of the convention, September 18, 1787, he wrote: “A lady asked Dr. Franklin Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy – A republic replied the Doctor if you can keep it.” Then McHenry added: “The Lady here alluded to was Mrs. Powel of Philada.” The journal is at the Manuscript Division of the Library of Congress.”
