During the DNC in Chicago, we made our demand for an arms embargo on Israel clear. Time and time again, we heard politicians — including Sen. Tammy Duckworth who told us back in October that she would continue sending weapons to Israel — posing as advocates for women and reproductive rights while arming Israel. They can’t hide from one undeniable fact: Genocide is not feminist.

And Tell Them:
We Need an Arms Embargo on Israel NOW!

Senator,

I am writing to you because I’ve witnessed atrocities beyond comprehension committed by Israel in Gaza, and I can no longer bear it. You have the ability to stop this genocide in Palestine, and I am begging you to call for an arms embargo on Israel now! Your job is to serve the people, and the majority of Americans want a permanent ceasefire and an end to U.S. arms sales to Israel. We are disgusted that our hard-earned money is being used to annihilate innocent people in Palestine!

As a woman, does it matter to you that 183 women in Gaza give birth without painkillers every day? Does it matter to you that a majority of Palestinians murdered by Israel in Gaza are women and children? Gaza is a feminist issue!

I know you’ve seen the images of children without limbs, people burned alive, and dead bodies piled up in hospitals and in the streets, and you know this must end now. Israel is committing crimes against humanity.

This is not just a speculation, they are murdering children, attacking hospitals, and starving the people of Gaza. Over 120,000 Palestinians have been murdered by Israel since October. There is no justification for this. I demand you enact an immediate arms embargo and stop all weapons from being sold or transferred to Israel.

It’s not too late to do what’s right. It’s not too late to recognize this has gone too far. At any moment, you can decide to stop this genocide. It is crucial you make the right choice right now and enact an immediate arms embargo against Israel NOW.
