I understand that you are now deciding whether to lift restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long range missiles, allowing them to strike deep into Russian territory.

I am deeply concerned that this will escalate the war and threatens to bring the United States into direct conflict with Russia. As you warned almost 2 years ago, the risk of nuclear Armageddon is at it’s highest point since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Please consider this and choose negotiation, not escalation, to end the war in Ukraine. For Ukrainian children, for Russian children, for American children, do not escalate this war.”

We believe that the Biden administration should support a ceasefire and negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, not expand it at the risk of dragging the United States into a direct, perhaps nuclear, conflict with Russia.
